How do I search for a company in a specific state/city?

      1. On any page of Senior GuidePost, click on 'Browse The Guide' at the top right of the screen

      3. Once the list has populated, you can filter based on state in the left navigation bar

      1. Once you have logged into your account, and registered a business, hover over 'dashboard' at the
        top right of the screen

      2. click on the business that you want to promote.

      3. On the left navigation pane, choose add-on options.

      4. Choose the desired add-on options and click submit.

      How do I register a business?

       

       

      1. Once you have created a user profile, navigate to the 'User Profile' page.
      2. Select register a business on the left side of the screen

      3. Select the subscription plan that is right for you.

      4. Complete all property fields & click 'Submit'Note: The 'Description of Your Business' field is an outward facing field and will be visible from all users that search the guide and see your company.

        ** Once you click submit,your business profile will be under review by a senior guidepost team member.  A few moments after your registration has been submitted you will receive and email in regards to your approval.  
        IF approved you will be automatically redirected to get your senior living certification via email.  This is a free process that takes 10 to 15 mins. If not approved you will be contact by a Senior Guidepost team member with in 24 hours.  You will be able to update and make additions to your business profile in the meantime.



       


       

       

      What if I don't see a category or subcategory that fits my business

       

       

      Please feel free to contact support@SeniorGuidePost.com if you can not find a category or sub-category that does not describe your companies area of expertise.  In the email please include an explanation of what your company does and the category or sub-category that you think your company should fall under.

      Our team will review any requests and either update you any changes or provide you with the best options for a category or sub-category that your company should be associated with.

      Can I add company team members?

       

       

      1. Once you have registered a business, hover over the "Dashboard" button and choose your desired business
      2. On your business page, choose the team tab.
      3. In the Add / Invite section of the team dashboard, enter the email address of the desired team member that you wish allow permission to your company's Senior GuidePost profile.  

       

       

      ** please note that these team members will have admin access to your company's profile.

       

       

       

       


       

       

      How do I get contacted by senior communities?

       

       

      1. When browsing the guide, senior living decision makers can search for any solutions their communities need.  

      2. When they select your company they will be taken to your business profile where they can see all of the following:
        • Website
        • Phone Number
        • Endorsements
        • Company Size
        • Company Description
        • Associated Team Members
      3. They Will be able to contact you through your provided contact information, or users can navigate to the contact tab on your profile and submit a message form which you will receive via the email associated.

       

       

       


       

       

      How Can I upload user and business profile photos?

       

       

      1. Go to your business or user profile.
      2. Simply click the icon on the bottom right of the image area.

      3. You can then add your personal picture or company logo.
      4. Don not forget to do the same for your banner.  This will allow your user or business profile stand out from the rest.

       

       


       

       

      How can I add or update my billing information?

       

       

      1. Go to your company dashboard
      2. Select Billing information on the left navigation pane
      3. Securely add or update a new payment method by typing your payment information the clicking update.

      How do I view my invoices?

       

       

      1. Navigate to your business profile dashboard

      How do I change my password?

       

      1. Navigate to your user profile.
      2. Select 'Update Password' on the navigation pane
      3. Enter current password, new password, and re-type the new password a second time.

      What if I forgot my password?

       

       

      If you forget your password, do not worry, let us know. The Log In page has a 'Forgot Password?' link that can help you.  Click the link and follow the prompts to restore your access and update your password.  Senior GuidePost does ensure proper verification before allowing someone to update their password. 

       

       

       


       

       

      How do I edit my business profile information?

       

      1. At the top of the screen choose user profile to edit your user profile, or hover over dashboard and select the appropriate company to edit your business profile.


      2. Once you have made it to the dashboard for either the user or business profile, you can dive in to editing either one however you want.  If you would like to learn more about editing profiles, please look at other relevant FAQ's that cover this topic.

       

       


       

       

      How do I become Senior Living Certified?

       

      1. You must first register a business.
      2. Once you have registered your company the registration will be reviewed by the Senior GuidePost team.
      3. Once approved, we will be sending you a Senior Living Certification via email.  If you were not approved you will be contact by a Senior Guidepost team member with in 24 hours. 
      4. Be on the look out for an email with the subject line “Become Senior living Certified Now!”
      5. The email will prompt you to complete the Senior Living Certification Test and a form to help us understand more about your company.
      6. Depending on the results of the test, you will shortly receive your appropriate Senior Living Certification badge.  
      7. You can now use this badge on all of you correspondence, marketing collateral, website, and other communication.  

       

       

       


       

       

      What are the differences in Senior certifications?

       

      Green Certified

      • You have completed the Senior Living Certification Test

       

      Silver Certified

      • You have completed the Senior Living Certification Test
      • You can provide a certificate of necessary insurance documents associated with your profession on your Senior GuidePost profile or upon request.

       

      Gold Certified

      • You have completed the Senior Living Certification Test
      • You can provide a certificate of necessary insurance documents associated with your profession on your Senior GuidePost profile or upon request.
      • You can provide validation of background checking all of your employees who will be working in Senior Communities or around residents on your Senior GuidePost profile or upon request.

       

       


       

       

      How Can I add a workshop or Industry event to the Event Calendar?

       

      1. Navigate to your business dashboard
      2. Click the 'Manage Events' tab on the navigation pane
      3. Here you can see what events you have currently submitted and the option to 'Create Event'
      4. Click on 'Create Event'.

      5. Enter all relevant information that pertains to your event on this page.

      6. Once submitted, the event will be sent into the Senior GuidePost review team to approval.
      7. Once approved your event will appear on the calendar.

       

       


       

       

      Can I upload photos, documents or press releases of my company?

       

       

      1. Navigate to your business profile.
      2. Click the 'Gallery/Press' tab on the navigation pane.
      3. In the 'Add Image and Documents' click 'Upload'

      4. Upload whitepapers, brochures, business accreditation, photos of work done, Etc. 
        **Note: PDF’s, csv’s, xlsx, doc’s, jpg’s, png’s are all acceptable file forms types and will be identified upon upload.

      1. You can suspend your subscription plan by accessing navigating to your business profile.
      2. Clicking on 'Suspend Account' on the navigation pane.
